Step 1: Register for the Contest or Log In if you're already registered.

If you previously signed up for CASH FOR LIFE Game 1180 Second Chance Contest or another INSTANT Second Chance contest like JACKPOT Family 2nd Chance Contest, 7 Weeks of Winning Online Holiday Contest, or Living Lucky with Luke Combs Second Chance Contest, you can log in using the same User Name and Password.

Step 2: Enter your 14-character Online Contest Code

Scratch and reveal the 14-character Online Contest Code found on your CASH FOR LIFE, INSTANT Lottery Game 1181 ticket. Earn one (1) contest entry for every code entered. For each code successfully entered, you also get to play a Bonus Game where you can earn additional Bonus Entries!

Your Entries will be automatically entered into the applicable Weekly Draw as well as the Grand Prize Draw!

Your contest entries are valid for the $1,000 Weekly Draw for the week they were entered. For example, if you enter an Online Contest Code on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, it will be entered into the $1,000 Weekly Draw from all entries collected between Saturday April 20, 2024 at 12:00:00am ET until Friday April 26, 2024, at 11:59:59 pm ET.

If your entry is not drawn as a winner for the Weekly Draw, it will automatically be entered into the Grand Prize Draw.

To receive one (1) Contest Code without making an Eligible Purchase, clearly print your first name, last name, full mailing address (street, apt./suite, city/town, province/territory, postal code), on a plain white piece of paper, the words “CASH FOR LIFE, Game 1181 Second Chance Contest”, a minimum one hundred (100) word, unique and original handwritten essay describing what you would do with an extra $1,000 a week for a year, and mail it (in an envelope with sufficient postage) along with a one (1) postage pre-paid stamped and pre-addressed envelope to: “CASH FOR LIFE, Game 1181 Second Chance Contest”, 140 Otter Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 0M8.

To be eligible, each Request must:

(i) be received separately in an envelope bearing sufficient postage (i.e. mass mail-in Requests in the same envelope will be void);
(ii) be post-marked during the Contest Period and be received no later than September 13, 2024 (to allow sufficient time to respond with a Contest Code); and,
(iii) include all required information as noted above.

One (1) NPN Contest Code will be provided by mail to the requestor per each unique posted Request.

NPN Contest Codes may take up to 5 business days from receipt to be processed by the Contest Administrator.

Registered participants may submit a maximum of fifty-one (51) unique Contest Codes per day.

Contest entry closes on Friday September 27, 2024, at 11:59:59 PM ET.  The Grand Prize draw will take place on or after Tuesday October 1,2024.

No. We don’t require you to present the original ticket with the Online Contest Code you entered to claim a prize for this contest. However, make sure you check your original ticket at your favourite retail location to see if it won a prize on the game play.

This contest offers twenty (20) Weekly Draws for $1,000 and one (1) $1,000 a week for one (1) year Grand Prize.

Yes! You can win more than one of the $1,000 Weekly Draws if you enter during more than one Contest Period.  All entries that did not win a Weekly Draw are automatically entered into the $1,000 a week for one (1) year Grand Prize Draw.

The contest administrator will attempt to contact each selected entrant of the $1,000 Weekly Draws and the Grand Prize Draw within 10 days of each draw at the telephone number or email address provided at registration.

Each winner’s name and city will be posted on the contest and/or OLG website following full verification.

The odds of winning the Weekly Prizes and the Grand Prize depend on the total number of all Entries submitted and received in accordance with the Official Rules and Regulations Official Rules and Regulations - Opens in a new window .

If you receive this message and you have not already signed up for the CASH FOR LIFE, Game 1181 Second Chance Contest or a previous OLG INSTANT Second Chance Contest , it is possible that someone else in your household has signed up using the same email address.

An email address cannot be used by more than one person.

You may have entered your email address or password incorrectly. Check that you haven’t made any typos and that caps lock is off. Also make sure you haven’t entered any extra spaces.

First, check your Junk folder to see if it’s there. If it is, move it to your Inbox so you can click on the link. Ensure you add noreply@OLG2ndchance.ca to your Safe List.

You can also try to send a new activation email to your inbox. Click on the “Forgot Password” link. From there, click on the action dropdown to select the “Resend Activation” and enter your already registered email to receive a new link.

Log in to your account and then click on your name in the top right corner. This will open your profile, which you can then edit.

A ‘403 Forbidden’ error will sometimes occur due to a firewall or browser plugins. We suggest you try creating or accessing your account with a different browser.

You will be credited with the full amount of bonus entries whether you finish the Bonus Game or not. You can confirm by checking your Entry History.
