Step 1: Register for the Contest or Log In  if you’re already registered.

If you previously signed up for an OLG INSTANT Second Chance Contest, you can log In using the same User Name and Password.

Step 2: Enter your 14-character Online Contest Code

Scratch and reveal the 14-character Online Contest Code found on the front of your participating JACKPOT Family INSTANT ticket ($5 $100,000 JACKPOT, $10 $500,000 JACKPOT or $20 $1,000,000 JACKPOT).

Earn five (5) contest entries for every code entered from the $5 $100,000 JACKPOT ticket, ten (10) contest entries for every code entered from the $10 $500,000 JACKPOT ticket, and twenty (20) contest entries for every code entered from the $20 $1,000,000 JACKPOT ticket. If you enter a code from each of the entire Family of tickets at the same time, you will receive twenty-five (25) Bonus Entries!

And there’s more! For each code successfully entered, you also get to play a Bonus Slot Game where you can earn additional Bonus Entries!

Your Entries will be automatically entered into the applicable Weekly Draw as well as the Grand Prize Draw!

Your contest entries are valid for the $25,000 Weekly Draw for the week that they were entered. For example, if you enter an Online Contest Code on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, it will be entered into the $25,000 Weekly Draw from all entries collected between Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 12:00:00 am ET until Friday, May 17, 2024, at 11:59:59 pm ET.

If your entry is not drawn as a winner for the Weekly Draw, it will automatically be entered into the $250,000 Grand Prize Draw.

You can enter Online Contest Codes from both winning and non-winning $5 $100,000 JACKPOT, $10 $500,000 JACKPOT and $20 $1,000,000 JACKPOT tickets.

The contest is open to those residing in Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories or Nunavut and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry; or reside in British Columbia, and who are nineteen (19) years of age or older at the time of entry. No purchase necessary!

To receive one (1) Contest Code without making an Eligible Purchase, clearly print your first name, last name, full mailing address (street, apt./suite, city/town, province/territory, postal code), and the words “JACKPOT FAMILY 2ND CHANCE CONTEST” on one page, and mail it (in an envelope with sufficient postage) along with a one (1) postage pre-paid stamped and pre-addressed envelope (with your return address) to: “JACKPOT FAMILY 2nd CHANCE CONTEST”, 140 Otter Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 0M8.

To be eligible, each Request must:

One (1) NPN Contest Code will be provided per posted Request with the value of 5, 10 or 20 entries plus any relevant Bonus Entries, the equivalent of entering a purchased $5, $10 or $20 ticket respectively.

NPN Contest Codes may take up to 5 business days from receipt to be processed by the Contest Manager.

Registered participants may submit a maximum of fifty-one (51) unique Contest Codes per day.

No. We don’t require you to present the original ticket with the Online Contest Code you entered to claim a prize for this contest. However, make sure you check your original ticket at your favourite retail location to see if it won a prize on the game play.

This contest offers twenty (20) Weekly Draws for $25,000 and one (1) $250,000 Grand Prize.

Yes! You can win more than one of the $25,000 Weekly Draws if you enter during more than one Contest Period. All entries that did not win a Weekly Draw are automatically entered into the $250,000 Grand Prize Draw.

The Contest Manager will attempt to contact each selected entrant of the Weekly Draws and the Grand Prize Draw within 10 days of each draw at the telephone number or email address provided at registration.

Each winner’s name and city will be posted on the contest and/or OLG website following full verification.

The odds of winning the Weekly Prizes and the Grand Prize depend on the total number of all Entries submitted and received in accordance with the Official Contest Rules and Regulations Official Contest Rules and Regulations - Opens in a new window .

If you previously signed up for another OLG INSTANT Second Chance contest, please use those details to log in. If you have forgotten your password, go to the Forgot your password  page. 

If you receive this message and you have not already signed up for the JACKPOT Family 2nd Chance Contest or a previous OLG INSTANT Second Chance Contest, it is possible that someone else in your household has signed up using the same email address.

An email address cannot be used by more than one person.

You may have entered your email address or password incorrectly. Check that you haven’t made any typos and that caps lock is off. Also make sure you haven’t entered any extra spaces.

If you previously signed up for JACKPOT Family 2nd Chance Contest or another OLG INSTANT Second Chance contest, and have forgotten your email address and/or password, go to the Forgot your password .

First, check your Junk folder to see if it’s there. If it is, move it to your Inbox so you can click on the link. Ensure you add noreply@OLG2ndchance.ca to your Safe List.

You can also try to send a new activation email to your inbox. Click on the “ Forgot your password ” link. From there, click on the action dropdown to select the “Resend Activation” and enter your already registered email to receive a new link.

Log in to your account and then click on your name in the top right corner. This will open your profile, which you can then edit.

A ‘403 Forbidden’ error will sometimes occur due to a firewall or browser plugins. We suggest you try creating or accessing your account with a different browser.

You will be credited with the full amount of bonus entries whether you finish the Bonus Game or not. You can confirm by checking your Entry History.
